Minard Brook Nature Reserve, in northern Queens County, protects aquatic and riparian habitats associated with the Grafton Lake population of endangered Blandings turtle.
The nature reserve is adjacent to the eastern side of Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site, just upstream of Grafton Lake
Habitats in the nature reserve include shrub-fen along the brook and mixed forest of red oak, white pine, red spruce, and hemlock on the adjacent uplands.
