United Nations Peacekeeper Certificate of Recognition
This year is the 80th anniversary of the United Nations (UN). The Government of Nova Scotia is acknowledging United Nations peacekeepers from Nova Scotia with a Certificate of Recognition in appreciation of their service.
Use the UN Peacekeeper Certificate of Recognition Application to nominate a peacekeeper from Nova Scotia.
Eligibility
You need to use this form to nominate Nova Scotians who have served as United Nations Peacekeepers.
Nova Scotians who meet the criteria and who are now deceased are eligible to be nominated for a certificate of recognition.
How to apply
- Complete the application form.
- Send the completed form by email or mail.
How long it takes
It should take 4 to 6 weeks for Military Relations to review the nomination. It can take longer if more information is needed or if your form hasn’t been filled in correctly.
Cost
There is no cost to apply for the nomination.
