Reportedly collected from flotsam of RMS Titanic by able seaman John Sage of CS Mackay-Bennett.
Suggested that the fragment is from one of Titanic's Second Class areas.
Carved in an "egg and dart pattern".
Mr. Sage gave the fragment to the donor's parents, who Mr. Sage lived with from 1944-45.
