Description
- Made from wood salvaged after the sinking of RMS Titanic by William Parker, a Nova Scotian carpenter aboard CS Minia who participated in the recovery of victims.
- Titanic wreckwood is a feature of the Maritime Museum’s Titanic exhibit and many of the pieces in that collection were made by Mr. Parker, such as a decorative rosette he crafted from eight pieces of the oak balustrade from the ship's grand staircase.
