Government Store

Welcome to the Nova Scotia Government's online store, your official source for government books, manuals, maps, reports, Statutes, Acts and Regulations. Shop online anytime, it's fast and easy and you can pay by Interac Online, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Access Nova Scotia manages the Government online store on behalf of the provincial government. Each store uses its own shopping cart and checkout.

Payment Information

Charges on your credit card or bank statement will appear as "NS Government Internet". All prices and payments are listed and processed in Canadian funds only.

Paying for your order is a simple four step process:

  1. Review and Complete your order: review your order and enter all required information.
  2. Verify and Confirm: after completing your order, you will have a chance to check your information and confirm the details of your transaction.
  3. Payment Information: you will then be asked for your payment card information to complete payment for the transaction.
  4. Transaction Confirmation: the results of your transaction will be confirmed, including details of your payment, which can be printed for your records.

Return and Refund Policy

Once the order is processed and shipped, items are non-returnable. We regret we cannot issue refunds.

Shipping and Handling

All shipping charges quoted are for regular postal or equivalent ground shipment by Canada Post.

Your materials will be shipped to you within 7 to 10 business days (depending on availability).
Claims for lost shipments:
Claims for lost shipments must be submitted to the store manager within 60 days (in North America) and 90 days (outside North America). Incorrect or damaged shipments must be returned within 7 days within the Atlantic Provinces and within 30 days elsewhere.

My Account

Multi-store access with one account:
One account will allow you to login to all the stores at Access Nova Scotia - Shop Online; each shop uses its own shopping cart and checkout.
Returning Customers:
If you previously created an account in one of the Government Stores you may login by clicking on My Account.
Has your e-mail address changed?
If you no longer use the e-mail address associated with your account, you may email the store administrator for help restoring access to your account.

Lost or Forgotten Password

Go to the My Account page and click on the question Forgot your Password?.

Enter the e-mail address associated with your account, then click SEND.  You will be sent an e-mail message containing your new password.
