How to apply

  1. Check with the municipality to ensure your development conforms with by-laws.
  2. Obtain all required municipal approvals.
  3. Complete the application form.
  4. Send your completed application by mail or email.
  5. The Registrar of Condominiums creates a file and assigns a proposed condominium corporation number. The Registrar of Condominiums also notifies the declarant (developer) of the proposed condominium corporation number.
  6. All future correspondence from the Registrar of Condominiums references the proposed condominium corporation number.

How long it takes

It should take 1 to 2 weeks to get your proposed condominium corporation number. It can take longer if more information is needed or if your application hasn’t been filled in correctly.
