On-site sewage disposal system Regulations

Section 7A under Division III of the Activities Designation Regulations outlines the requirement to submit a notification, or apply for an approval to install an on-site sewage system.

Nova Scotia Environment has established the On-site Sewage Disposal System Technical Guidelines. The Guidelines are intended to be used as an educational and technical guidance manual in conjunction with the Standard by qualified persons, installers, and staff of Nova Scotia Environment that have an interest in planning, design, selection, installation, operation and maintenance of on-site systems.
