Overview

Located on the Northumberland Strait, this park marks the eastern terminus of the historic Chignecto Marine Ship Railway.  It also offers beach access, picnicking and interpretation

Protection Values

Protects historic features (terminus and portions of rail corridor) associated with Chignecto Marine Railway; designated Provincial Heritage Site; designated National Site of Engineering Significance.  Balance of Marine Railway lands between Tidnish Dock and Fort Lawrence recently acquired by Province.
