The Nova Scotia Well Logs Database provides information on more than 100,000 water wells in the province, including information on well locations, geology and well construction, well depth and yield. The database can be searched on-line or downloaded from the links below.

The most recent version of the NS Well Logs Database is available for download at the links shown above. You will need Microsoft® Access 2000 (or compatible higher version) to run the database.
If you do not need to search the entire database, but wish to obtain a copy of an individual well log, access requests for a search of an individual civic address in the NS Well Log Database may be made through the Environmental Registry.
