Food Inspection Reports

There are about 5,000 restaurants, grocery stores and food service facilities in Nova Scotia. Inspectors conduct inspections and audits on food service establishments using risk based assessments.

The inspection report disclosure website provides information on the results of these inspections. The website confirms compliance with food safety regulations or required corrective action.

The reports that are located on this site are only for inspections completed after July 10, 2008. As more inspection reports are added, they will be available for a three-year period. Inspection reports are usually posted within three days of an inspection being completed.
