Mulgrave Community Wind Power Project

Description

This is to advise that on December 11, 2013, Celtic Current LP will register the Mulgrave Community Wind Power Project for environmental assessment, in accordance with Part IV of the Environment Act.

The purpose of the proposed undertaking is to construct a 2.3 MW Community Wind Project in Mulgrave, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia. This Project consists of one 2.3MW wind turbine. Construction will commence in the spring of 2014 with operation expected by late summer 2014.

Minister's Decision

On February 10, the Minister of Environment released decisionPDF Download Link (PDF:31k) a concerning this review. The Minister has decided to approve the undertaking in accordance with Section 13(1)b of the Environmental Assessment Regulations, pursuant to Part IV of the Environment Act.
