Victim Fine Surcharge Rate Regulations

made under Sections 7 and 14 of the
Victims' Rights and Services Act
S.N.S. 1989, c. 14
O.I.C. 89-1357 (December 5, 1989), N.S. Reg. 243/89

1 For the purposes of Section 7 of the Victims' Rights and Services Act, "fine" means a fine or other monetary penalty.

2 The percentage prescribed for the purpose of determining the amount of the victim-fine surcharge pursuant to subsection (1) of Section 7 of the Victims' Rights and Services Act is fifteen percent.
