Food establishment inspections
There are about 5,000 restaurants, grocery stores and food service facilities in Nova Scotia. Inspectors conduct inspections and audits on food service establishments using risk-based assessments.
Inspection reports provide information on the results of inspections and confirm compliance with food safety regulations or required corrective action.
Inspection reports are usually posted within 3 days of an inspection being completed.
