December 12, 2018US CONSUMER PRICE INDEX, NOVEMBER 2018 The US Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers was unchanged in November (seasonally adjusted growth from October). This month, the gasoline index declined 4.2 per cent, offsetting price increases in shelter and used cars and trucks.
Year over year (November 2018 compared to November 2017) consumer prices were up 2.2 per cent (not seasonally adjusted), with the energy index increasing 3.1 per cent. The all items less food and energy index rose 2.2 per cent, year over year.
