November 14, 2018EU AND EURO AREA GDP, Q3 2018 [FLASH] 
Eurostat reports today that real GDP rose by 1.4 per cent (seasonally adjusted annualized rate) in the European Union (revised up 0.1 percentage points) and by 0.7 per cent in the Euro Area (revised up 0.1 percentage points) in the third quarter of 2018. Real GDP growth has been slower in in the first three quarters of the year compared to 2017.
Comparing Q3 2018 with Q3 2017, seasonally adjusted GDP rose by 1.7 per cent in the Euro Area and 1.9 per cent in the European Union.
