Month-over-month (October 2024 vs September 2024)
The current account surplus widened by ¥1,137.1 billion to ¥2,408.8 billion.
- the goods trade deficit narrowed by ¥143.3 billion to ¥180.9 billion
- the services trade deficit narrowed by ¥327.5 billion to ¥51.3 billion
- the primary income surplus widened by ¥682.8 to ¥3,134.6 billion
- the secondary income deficit widened by ¥16.5 billion to ¥493.7 billion
The goods deficit narrowed by ¥143.3 billion to ¥180.9 billion.
- goods exports increased ¥106.6 to ¥8,789.7 billion.
- goods imports decreased ¥36.7 billion to ¥8,970.6 billion.
