The United States goods and services deficit narrowed by $1.9 billion to $73.1 billion. The goods deficit narrowed by $2.5 billion to $97.4 billion, and the services surplus narrowed by $594 million to $24.2 billion.
Total exports increased $3.9 billion to $265.9 billion. Goods exports increased $4.4 billion to $174.2 billion, and services exports decreased $427 million to $91.7 billion.
Total imports increased $2.0 billion to $339.0 billion. Goods imports increased $1.9 billion to $271.6 billion, and services imports increased $166 million to $67.5 billion.
Year over year (June 2024 vs June 2023)
The US trade deficit widened by $8.3 billion. The goods deficit widened by $8.9 billion, and the services surplus widened by $626 million.
Total exports increased by $14.9 billion. Goods exports increased $8.9 billion, and services exports increased $6.0 billion.
Total imports increased $23.2 billion. Goods imports increased $17.8 billion, and services imports increased $5.4 billion.
