July 21, 2023UK RETAIL SALES, JUNE 2023 The UK Office for National Statistics reports that UK retail sales value as well as retail sales volume increased in June 2023.
Month over month (June 2023 vs May 2023)
Retail sales values increased by 0.7% while volumes (adjusted to remove the effects of price changes) increased 0.7%.
Internet sales decreased by 0.5% and accounted for 26.0% of total retail sales.
Year-over-Year (June 2023 vs June 2022)
Retail sales values increased 4.3% while retail sales volumes decreased 1.0%.
Year-to-date (January-June 2023 vs January-June 2022)
Retail sales values increased 4.4% and retail sales volumes decreased 3.4%.
