February 15, 2023US RETAIL SALES, JANUARY 2023 Month over month (January 2023 vs December 2022, seasonally adjusted)
The US Census Bureau announced today that the advance estimates of U.S retail and food service sales have increased to $697.0 billion (+3.0%). Excluding food services and drinking places, retail trade sales increased 2.3% while food service and drinking places rose 7.2%.
Year-over-year (January 2023 vs January 2022, seasonally adjusted)
US retail trade increased 3.9% and food services and drinking places sales increased 25.2%.
