EU AND EURO AREA TRADE BALANCE IN GOODS, NOVEMBER 2022

EURO AREA (EA19 - Nov 2022 vs. Oct 2022, not seasonally adjusted)

The Euro Area's goods trade with the rest of the word recorded a deficit of €-11.7 billion in November. Euro Area exports increased €12.2 billion (+4.8%) to €264.7 billion. Euro Area imports decreased €3.1 billion (-1.1%) to €276.3 billion.

                                                                                                                         

EUROPEAN UNION (EU27 - Nov 2022 vs. Oct 2022, not seasonally adjusted)

The European Union's goods trade with the rest of the world recorded a deficit of €20.7 billion in November. European Union exports increased €12.0 billion (+5.3%) to €237.3 billion. European Union imports decreased €6.0 billion (-2.3%) to €258.0 billion.

TRADE PARTNERS (Nov 2022 vs. Oct 2022, not seasonally adjusted)

The European Union's goods trade with:

  • the United Kingdom recorded a surplus of €13.2 billion
  • Canada recorded a surplus of €1.1 billion
  • the United States recorded a surplus of €14.5 billion
