November 18, 2022UK RETAIL SALES, OCTOBER 2022 The UK Office for National Statistics reports that UK retail sales value and volume increased in October 2022.
Month over month (October 2022 vs September 2022)
Retail sales values increased 1.8% while retail sales volume (adjusted for price changes) was up 0.6%.
Internet sales decreased by 0.7% and accounted for 26.1% of total retail sales.
Year-over-year (October 2022 vs October 2021)
Retail sales values increased 4.8% while retail sales volumes decreased 6.1%.
Year-to-date (Jan-Oct 2022 vs Jan-Oct 2021)
Retail sales values increased 7.7% and retail sales volumes decreased 2.2%.
