November 16, 2022UK CONSUMER PRICE INDEX, OCTOBER 2022
Year-over-year: UK Consumer Price Index including owner-occupiers' housing costs (CPIH) rose by 9.6% in October 2022, compared with October 2021. The largest contributions to rising UK inflation came from "housing and household services (principally from electricity, gas and other fuels), food and non-alcoholic beverages and transport (principally motor fuels)."
Year-over-year growth in the UK Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 11.1% in October 2022.
Month over month: Rising food prices also made a large upward contribution to change with transport upward contribution.
