November 15, 2022EU AND EURO AREA TRADE BALANCE IN GOODS, SEPTEMBER 2022 EURO AREA (EA19 - Sep 2022 vs. Aug 2022, not seasonally adjusted)
The Euro Area's goods trade with the rest of the word recorded a deficit of €34.4 billion. Euro Area exports increased €28.7 billion (12.4%) to €259.6 billion while Euro Area imports increased €10.7 billion (3.8%) to €294.0 billion.
EUROPEAN UNION (EU27 - Sep 2022 vs. Aug 2022, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with the rest of the world recorded a deficit of €45.8 billion. European Union exports increased €25.0 billion (12.1%) to €232.0 billion while European Union imports increased €5.1 billion (1.9%) to €277.8 billion.
TRADE PARTNERS (Sep 2022 vs. Aug 2022, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with:
- the United Kingdom recorded a surplus of €9.2 billion
- Canada recorded a surplus of €2.0 billion
- the United States recorded a surplus of €13.6 billion
