JAPAN CURRENT ACCOUNT AND TRADE BALANCE, SEPTEMBER 2022

 

                                                                                                                                               

Current Account (September 2022 vs August 2022)

The net current account surplus widened by 566 billion yen to 671 billion yen.

  • The net goods and services deficit narrowed by 536 billion yen to 2,402 billion yen.
  • The net primary income surplus widened by 58 billion yen to 3,208 billion yen.
  • The net secondary income deficit widened by 28 billion yen to 135 billion yen.

 

Trade Balance (September 2022 vs August 2022)

The net goods deficit narrowed by 209 billion yen to 1,916 billion yen.

  • The goods exports increased 96 billion yen to 8,617 billion yen.
  • The goods imports decreased 113 billion yen to 10,532 billion yen.

 

The net services deficit narrowed  by 327 billion yen to 487 billion yen.
