May 31, 2022EU AND EURO AREA CONSUMER PRICE INDEX, MAY 2022 Year-over-year (May 2022 vs. May 2021)
The inflation rate moved up to 8.1% in the European Union in April 2022 and was up 8.1% in the Euro Area in May 2022.
The fastest inflation was reported in Estonia (+20.1%), Lithuania (+18.5%), and Latvia (+16.4%) and the lowest inflation rates were in Malta (+5.6%) and France (+5.8%).
Note: Canada and Nova Scotia May 2022 CPI figures will be released on June 22, 2022.
