May 20, 2022UK RETAIL SALES, APRIL 2022 The UK Office for National Statistics reports that UK retail sales in April 2022:
Month over month (April 2022 vs March 2022) retail sales values increased 1.9% while the retail sales volume (adjusted for price changes) increased 1.4%. Online sales accounted for 27.0% of April 2022 retail sales, up from 25.9% in March 2022.
Year-over-year (April 2022 vs April 2021) retail sales values increased 4.5% and retail sales volumes decreased 4.9%.
Year-to-date (Jan-Apr 2022 vs Jan-Apr 2021) retail sales values were up 11.7% while volumes increased 3.1%.
