April 20, 2022EU AND EURO AREA TRADE BALANCE IN GOODS, FEBRUARY 2022 EURO AREA (EA19 - Feb 2022 vs. Jan 2022, not seasonally adjusted)
The Euro Area's goods trade with the rest of the word recorded a deficit of €-7.6 billion. Euro Area exports increased €15.1 billion (7.5%) to €215.8 billion. Euro Area imports decreased €4.6 billion (-2.0%) to €223.4 billion.
EUROPEAN UNION (EU27 - Feb 2022 vs. Jan 2022, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with the rest of the world recorded a deficit of €15.8 billion. European Union exports increased €12.3 billion (6.9%) to €191.9 billion. European Union imports decreased €8.6 billion (-4.0%) to €207.7 billion.
TRADE PARTNERS (Feb 2022 vs. Jan 2022, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with:
- the United Kingdom recorded a deficit of €10.9 billion
- Canada recorded a surplus of €1.7 billion
- the United States recorded a surplus of €11.8 billion.
