Consumer prices in Nova Scotia increased 5.4%. This is greater than the national average of 4.7%. In Halifax consumer prices increased 5.0%.
Excluding food and energy (index 2002=100)
Nova Scotia consumer prices increased 2.9%. This was lower than the national average of 3.2%.

Consumer prices in Nova Scotia increased 0.9%. This was higher than the national average of 0.7%. In Halifax consumer prices increased 0.8%.
Excluding food and energy (index 2002=100)
Nova Scotia consumer prices increased 0.5% while nationally they increased 0.4%.
