September 16, 2021EU AND EURO AREA TRADE BALANCE IN GOODS, JULY 2021 EURO AREA (EA19 - Jul 2021 vs Jun 2021, not seasonally adjusted)
The Euro Area's goods trade with the rest of the word recorded a surplus of €20.7 billion. Euro Area exports decreased €3.8 billion (-1.8%) to €206.0 billion. Euro Area imports decreased €6.8 billion (-3.5%) to €185.3 billion.
EUROPEAN UNION (EU27 - Jul 2021 vs Jun 2021, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with the rest of the world recorded a surplus of €15.7 billion. European Union exports decreased €2.3 billion (-1.2%) to €186.1 billion. European Union imports decreased €3.7 billion (-2.1%) to €170.4 billion.
TRADE PARTNERS (Jul 2021 vs Jun 2021, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with:
- the United Kingdom recorded a surplus of €12.6 billion
- Canada recorded a surplus of €1.3 billion
- the United States recorded a surplus of €16.6 billion
