August 13, 2021EU AND EURO AREA TRADE BALANCE IN GOODS, JUNE 2021 EURO AREA (EA19 - Jun 2021 vs May 2021, not seasonally adjusted)
The Euro Area's goods trade with the rest of the word recorded a surplus of €18.1 billion. Euro Area exports increased €17.4 billion (9.0%) to €209.9 billion. Euro Area imports increased €11.5 billion (6.4%) to €191.8 billion.
EUROPEAN UNION (EU27 - Jun 2021 vs May 2021, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with the rest of the world recorded a surplus of €14.8 billion. European Union exports increased €16.0 billion (9.3%) to €188.3 billion. European Union imports increased €9.4 billion (5.7%) to €173.5 billion.
TRADE PARTNERS (Jun 2021 vs May 2021, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with:
- Canada recorded a surplus of €1.4 billion,
- the United Kingdom recorded a surplus of €12.5 billion,
- the United States recorded a surplus of €14.5 billion.
