EU AND EURO AREA UNEMPLOYMENT RATE, JUNE 2021

The Euro Area unemployment rate was 7.7% in June 2021, a decline from 8.0% in the previous month. 

For the broader European Union (27 countries), unemployment rate declined to 7.1% in June 2021 from 7.3% in May. 

Among major European economies, the unemployment rate was highest in Greece (15.1%) and Spain (15.1%). The lowest unemployment rates were recorded in Czechia (2.8%) and the Netherlands (3.2%).
