October 17, 2019UK RETAIL SALES, SEPTEMBER 2019 
The UK Office for National Statistics reports that UK retail sales decreased in September.
- Month over month retail sales values decreased 0.2 per cent while the retail sales volume (adjusted for price changes) increased 0.03 per cent over August 2019.
- Year-over-year retail sales values increased 3.4 per cent and retail sales volumes increased 3.1 per cent over September 2018.
- Year-to-date retail sales values increased 4.3 per cent and retail sales volumes increased 3.9 per cent over Jan-Sep 2018.
Year-over-year Internet Sales increased by 9.1 per cent over September 2018. Online sales declined to a 19.1 per cent share of all retail sales.
