In Nova Scotia Jan-Aug 2019, New Motor Vehicles Unit Sales decreased 4.6% over Jan-Aug 2018. The 36,490 new motor vehicles sold in Jan-Aug 2019 represent a sales value of $1.4 billion, up 0.5% over Jan-Aug 2018.
In Canada Jan-Aug 2019, New Motor Vehicles Unit Sales decreased 3.9% over Jan-Aug 2018. The 1,367,881 new motor vehicles sold in Jan-Aug 2019 represent a sales value of $58.8 billion, down 0.4% over Jan-Aug 2018.

In Nova Scotia Jan-Aug 2019, North American manufactured new motor vehicles Unit Sales decreased 4.5% (74.6% share) over Jan-Aug 2018. North American manufactured new motor vehicles Sales Value increased lt 0.1% (77.0% share) over Jan-Aug 2018.
In Nova Scotia Jan-Aug 2019, for New Motor Vehicles manufactured overseas, Unit Sales decreased 4.7% (25.4% share) over Jan-Aug 2018. For New Motor Vehicles manufactured overseas, Sales Value increased 2.3% (23.0% share) over Jan-Aug 2018.

In Nova Scotia Jan-Aug 2019, truck/SUV Unit Sales increased 3.7% (71.3% share) to 26,014 units over Jan-Aug 2018, and truck/SUV Sales Value increased 6.2% (78.7% share) to $1,088 million over Jan-Aug 2018.
Average Prices
In Nova Scotia Jan-Aug 2019, the new motor vehicles average price increased 5.4% over Jan-Aug 2018 to $37,870. The passenger car average price increased 5.5% over Jan-Aug 2018 to $28,044. The truck/SUV average price increased 2.4% over Jan-Aug 2018 to $41,827.
In Canada Jan-Aug 2019, the new motor vehicles average price increased 3.7% over Jan-Aug 2018 to $42,951.
