In Nova Scotia Jan-Jul 2019, New Motor Vehicles Unit Sales decreased 5.1% over Jan-Jul 2018. The 31,531 new motor vehicles sold in Jan-Jul 2019 represent a sales value of $1,192.1 million, up 0.2% over Jan-Jul 2018.
In Canada Jan-Jul 2019, New Motor Vehicles Unit Sales decreased 4.6% over Jan-Jul 2018. The 1,181,774 new motor vehicles sold in Jan-Jul 2019 represent a sales value of $50.8 billion, down 1.6% over Jan-Jul 2018.

In Nova Scotia Jan-Jul 2019, North American manufactured new motor vehicles Unit Sales decreased 4.0% (75.0% share) over Jan-Jul 2018. North American manufactured new motor vehicles Sales Value increased 0.7% (77.3% share) over Jan-Jul 2018.

Average Prices
In Nova Scotia Jan-Jul 2019, the new motor vehicles average price increased 5.5% over Jan-Jul 2018 to $37,808. The passenger car average price increased 4.9% over Jan-Jul 2018 to $27,991. The truck/SUV average price increased 2.5% over Jan-Jul 2018 to $41,870.
In Canada Jan-Jul 2019, the new motor vehicles average price increased 3.1% over Jan-Jul 2018 to $42,991.
