In Nova Scotia Jan-May 2019, New Motor Vehicles Unit Sales decreased 5.8% over Jan-May 2018. The 20,977 new motor vehicles sold in Jan-May 2019 represent a sales value of $790.9 million, down 1.1% over Jan-May 2018.
In Canada Jan-May 2019, New Motor Vehicles Unit Sales decreased 4.7% over Jan-May 2018. The 814,701 new motor vehicles sold in Jan-May 2019 represent a sales value of $35.1 billion, down 1.8% over Jan-May 2018.

In Nova Scotia Jan-May 2019, North American manufactured new motor vehicles Unit Sales decreased 5.8% (75.8% share) over Jan-May 2018. North American manufactured new motor vehicles Sales Value decreased 1.2% (78.2% share) over Jan-May 2018.
In Nova Scotia Jan-May 2019, for New Motor Vehicles manufactured overseas, Unit Sales decreased 5.8% (24.2% share) over Jan-May 2018. For New Motor Vehicles manufactured overseas, Sales Value decreased 0.8% (21.8% share) over Jan-May 2018.

In Nova Scotia Jan-May 2019, passenger car Unit Sales decreased 21.0% (29.3% share) to 6,156 units over Jan-May 2018. Passenger car Sales Value decreased 17.7% (21.7% share) to $171 million over Jan-May 2018
In Nova Scotia Jan-May 2019, truck/SUV Unit Sales increased 2.4% (70.7% share) to 14,821 units over Jan-May 2018. Truck/SUV Sales Value increased 4.8% (78.3% share) to $620 million over Jan-May 2018.
Average Prices
In Nova Scotia Jan-May 2019, the new motor vehicles average price increased 5.0% over Jan-May 2018 to $37,704. The passenger car average price increased 4.1% over Jan-May 2018 to $27,817. The truck/suv average price increased 2.3% over Jan-May 2018 to $41,811.
In Canada Jan-May 2019, the new motor vehicles average price increased 3.0% over Jan-May 2018 to $43,138.
