In January 2019, Japan reported
- the Net international trade (goods and services) declined 249 billion yen. As a result, Net international trade (goods and services) reported a of 34 billion yen.
- primary income surplus increased 429 billion yen to 1,986 billion yen and
- secondary income (transfers) deficit decreased 20 billion yen to 119 billion yen.
As a result, the current account surplus increased 200 billion yen to 1,833 billion yen over December 2018.
Trade Balance
In January 2019, Japan 's
- goods exports decreased 354 billion yen to 6,340 billion yen,
- goods imports decreased 221 billion yen to 6,288 billion yen,
- As a result, net international goods trade surplus decreased 133 billion yen to 52 billion yen, over December 2018.
- Net international services trade decreased 116 billion yen. As a result, net international services trade reported a deficit of 86 billion yen, over December 2018.
As a result, Net international trade (goods and services) deficit increased 249 billion yen to 34 billion yen, over December 2018
