JAPAN LABOUR FORCE SURVEY, JULY 2018

Japan's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased again to 2.5 per cent in July. Although the unemployment rate rose, Japan's unemployment rate remains near lows not seen since the 1990s.

Recent increases in the size of Japan's labour force and employment appear to be reversing, with labour force and employment continuing to fall back below levels that peaked in February 2018.
