EURO AREA TRADE BALANCE IN GOODS, FEBRUARY 2018

EURO AREA

In February 2018, the Euro Area (EA19) Goods Trade (not seasonally adjusted) with the rest of the world recorded a surplus of 18.9 billion €.

The Euro Area (EA19) Export Trade increased 5.2 billion € (3%) to 177.5 billion €, Import Trade increased 2.4 billion € (1.6%) to 158.6 billion € over February 2017.

In Jan-Feb 2018, it was also reported that intra-euro area trade increased 6.5% to 314.0 billion € over Jan-Feb 2017.

 

In January 2018, the Euro Area (EA19) Goods Trade (not seasonally adjusted) with the United States recorded a surplus of 9.6 billion €.

In January 2018, the Euro Area (EA19) Goods Trade (not seasonally adjusted) with Canada recorded a surplus of 1.3 billion €.

 

 

EUOREAN UNION

In February 2018, the European Union (EU28) Goods Trade (not seasonally adjusted) with the rest of the world recorded a surplus of 3.3 billion €.

The European Union (EU28) Export Trade increased 2.5 billion € (1.7%) to 149.2 billion €, and Import Trade decreased 0.6 billion € (-0.4%) to 145.9 billion € over February 2017.

In Jan-Feb 2018, it was also reported that intra-EU28 trade increased 6.6% to 567.2 billion € over Jan-Feb 2017.

 

In January 2018, the European Union (EU28) Goods Trade (not seasonally adjusted) with the United States recorded a surplus of 11.0 billion €.

In January 2018, the European Union (EU28) Goods Trade (not seasonally adjusted) with Canada recorded a surplus of 1.1 billion €.
