UK GDP Q4 2017 (THIRD ESTIMATE)

The Office for National Statistics' third estimate of UK Gross Domestic Product for Q4 2017 is an increase of 0.4 per cent or 1.6 per cent at an annualized rate, unrevised from the second estimate. Growth in the last quarter was driven by professional, scientific, administration and support services within the services sector. 

GDP growth for the year was estimated at 1.8 per cent for 2017, an upward revision of 0.1 percentage point from the last estimate. Household expenditure growth was 1.7 per cent between 2016 and 2017, the slowest growth since 2011.
