February 16, 2018UK RETAIL SALES, JANUARY 2018 The UK Office for National Statistics reports that in January 2018 retail sales were little changed in value terms, comparing with December 2017. Retail sales volumes were up slightly (+0.1 per cent excluding the effects of price changes) in January.
Year-over-year UK retail sales values were 4.4 per cent higher in January 2018 than they were in January 2017. UK retail sales volumes are up 1.6 per cent in real terms year-over-year after accounting for price increases.
