Halifax home prices as measured by the Teranet-National Bank House Price were up 0.8 per cent in November 2017 compared to October 2017. The Halifax price level was 2.1 per cent above the November 2016 level. 

For the month of November, the Teranet national index (composite of 11 cities) fell 0.5 per cent. In November, 5 out of 11 cities experienced increases while two saw relatively little change (0.0% monthly change, in Victoria and Vancouver).

Nationally, (Composite-11) house prices are 9.2 per cent above their levels in November of last year. The increase was led by Victoria, Vancouver, and Hamilton.    

Comparing the first eleven months of 2017 to the same period in 2016, Halifax home prices are up 2.1 per cent. Nationally, (Composite-11) house prices are 12.6 per cent above their levels in the first eleven months of last year.
