US TRADE BALANCE, OCTOBER 2017

 

In October 2017, the US goods and services trade deficit increased by $3.8 billion from September 2017 to $48.7 billion.

The goods deficit increased by $3.8 billion to $69.1 billion.

There was a decrease of $8 million in the service trade surplus to $20.3 billion.

 

Year-to-date

The Jan-Oct 2017 the US trade deficit increased $49.1 billion to $463 billion.  Year-to-date goods deficit increased $45 billion and the services surplus decreased $3.6 billion.
