UK RETAIL SALES, OCTOBER 2017

The UK Office of National Statistics reports that in October 2017 retail sales (volumes based - seasonally adjusted) were up 0.3 per cent over September 2017, and decreased 0.3 per cent over October 2016.

In October 2017, the amount spent online accounted for 16.9 per cent of all retail (excluding automotive fuels) spending, compared with 15.7 per cent in October 2016.  The value of the on-line sales increased 10.7 per cent to £1.2 billion over October 2016.
