The UK Office of National Statistics reports that in July 2017 retail sales (volumes based - seasonally adjusted) were up 0.3 per centover June 2017, and increased 1.3 per cent over July 2016.

Retail sales (seasonally adjusted) value increased 0.7 per cent over June 2017, and increased 4.1 per centover July 2016.

In July 2017, the amount spent online accounted for 16.0 per cent of all retail (excluding automotive fuels) spending, compared with 14.5 per cent in July 2016.  The value of the on-line sales increased 0.3 per cent over June 2017, and increased 15.1 per cent over June 2016.
