Canada Pension Plan (CPP)

The Canada Pension Plan is a federal government pension that you are eligible to receive if you have been employed in Canada (except in the province of Quebec, which has its own provincial pension plan) for any period of time.

If you are not sure of the amount of pension you are entitled to receive, you can get an estimate from your Canada Pension Plan Statement or by contacting Canada Pension directly.

The Canada Pension Plan also provides disability, death and survivor benefits. All benefits under Canada Pension Plan are indexed to the Consumer Price Index.
