NOTE TO EDITORS--SHOWCASE 96

InNOVAcorp's Technology Innovation Centre is hosting Showcase 96
from 1 - 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, 1996, at its incubator
facility at One Research Drive, Dartmouth. Dr. Ross McCurdy, CEO
of InNOVAcorp, will be master of ceremonies at an event at 1 p.m.
kicking-off National Science and Technology Week.
Showcase participants can see what InNOVAcorp is working on and
visit the facility's more than 40 clients and affiliates at
displays from 2 - 6 p.m.
Highlights include presentations by Premier John Savage, and Len
Sweett, provincial chair of National Science and Technology Week
activities.
National Science and Technology Week runs from Oct. 18 - 27 and
is sponsored by Industry Canada and coordinated in Nova Scotia by
the Science and Technology Awareness Network.
