NOTE TO EDITORS/HEALTH--QE II PROGRAMS

A media briefing will be held today, Tuesday, Oct. 3,at 1:30
p.m. in Halifax at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences
Centre board room. It is located on the main floor of the
Centennial Building, Victoria General Hospital site, Room 1-036.
(Signs will be posted in the lobby of the VG main entrance.)
During the briefing a proposed model will be released that
calls for a major shift in the current locations of clinical
programs and services at the Queen Elizabeth II Health
Sciences Centre (Victoria General Hospital, Camp Hill
Medical Centre, Nova Scotia Cancer Centre and the Nova
Scotia Rehabilitation Centre.)
A brief backgrounder on the Queen Elizabeth II Health
Sciences Centre will also be provided.
