Carters Beach Provincial Park Designation

made under Section 8 of the

Provincial Parks Act

R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 367

O.I.C. 2023-336 (effective November 28, 2023), N.S. Reg. 211/2023



The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated October 16, 2023, and pursuant to Section 8 of Chapter 367 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Parks Act, is pleased, effective on and after November 28, 2023, to

 

(a)      designate approximately 96.7 hectares (239 acres) of Crown lands in Queens County, currently identified as PIDs 70062575, 70181631 and 70182696, shown outlined in bold and shaded dark grey on the plan marked Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation and declare that it be known as Carters Beach Provincial Park; and

 

(b)      authorize the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
