Blandford Game Sanctuary Designation and Regulations

made under Section 113 of the
Wildlife Act
R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 504
O.I.C. dated November 23, 1959, N.S. Reg. 14/59

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forests dated the 13th day of November, A.D., 1959, and pursuant to the provisions of Section 154 of the Lands and Forests Act, is pleased to declare an area which includes Hoolahan Lake and Rocky Lake in the District of Blandford, County of Lunenburg, together with a strip of land one hundred yards wide surrounding Hoolahan Lake and Rocky Lake as a game sanctuary to be known as the Blandford Game Sanctuary, subject to the following regulation:

It shall be unlawful to hunt, take or kill or attempt to take or kill, wound or destroy, any game bird in that part of the Province of Nova Scotia known as the Blandford Game Sanctuary.
