Breakopen Ticket Licence

Who Needs This Licence?
Any charitable or religious organization who wants to raise funds for its community projects and programs by selling breakopen tickets.

Application Forms & Process:
To get an application form:
1)  Download: Breakopen Ticket Application Form; and also Breakopen Ticket Rules
Please note:  These forms are in Portable Document Format (PDF), which requires the FREE Adobe® Acrobat® Reader. If you do not have the Reader, you can download the program FREE of charge.
2)  Or  phone, visit, write or e-mail one of the contact sources listed above:

The appropriate application kit will be supplied by mail, or may be picked up by the applicant.

The completed application form can be mailed, faxed or brought to the Alcohol and Gaming Division office (see addresses above).

An applicant can request a breakopen ticket application by phone, fax, mail, downloading from this website, or by visiting the Alcohol and Gaming Division office. The application is reviewed by staff to ensure that it is completed in its entirety. Upon issuance, the applicant is mailed a license and the Atlantic Lottery Corporation is notified.
Waiting Period:
10 business days
Provided that all the items that must accompany the application have been received
Expiry & Renewal:
A license is valid for 3 year(s). The renewal process is started by the Division, which will send a renewal form to the license holder before the current license expires.
Price:  (No tax is charged)
Initial Application and Annual Renewal:  $85.77
Related Requirements:
None
Additional Information:
A license is issued to the charitable or religious organization. The Atlantic Lottery Corporation is notified of the approved license, and they initiate contact with the license holder to provide breakopen tickets.
Legislative Authority:
Gaming Control Act, Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1994-95.
